Are you having trouble logging in?
Some subscribers are finding that when they try to login, they keep looping back to the login page. Here is what you can do to resolve this problem.
Please feel free to contact
us if you have any more questions.
First of all, make sure you are logging in from this address only:
http://www.thegiftofstitching.com.au/amember/login.php
Please update all your bookmarks with this address. If the link above is not clickable, select it and copy it into your address bar.
It is really important that you are logging in from our .com.au address and not the .com address. Internet browsers will default to the cache copy of a page and not what you type in the address bar. Please clear your cache using the instructions further down this page.
Some notes about logging in:
- Usernames and passwords are case sensitive
- Do not use your email address to login
- Does your username or password contain zeros or o's?
- Press the 'Login' button and not the 'Get Password' button
Some readers that use Mozilla Firefox have found that latest version (3.5.2) is capatilising the first letter of their login name when it shouldn't be. To fix this, you need to delete the login from your password list that has a capital at the beginning. You are probably using this login for another website. I'm sure the makers of Firefox will fix this bug in a near future upgrade.
1. Goto Tools then Options
2. Click on the Security tab
3. Click on the Save Passwords button
4. Scroll down and single-click on the username that uses a capital
5. Click the remove button
This should fix the problem for you.
You may need to clear your Internet browsers temporary internet files or cache, and cookies.
