I didn't receive the confirmation email!
1. Add admin@thegiftofstitching.com to your address book or list of accepted email addresses. Once you have submitted the form, on the thank you page click on the link which says, "add us to your address book". This will add vcard to your email program's address book.
2. Perhaps the email is still in transit. Depending on internet traffic and how busy your ISP is, it can take a couple hours for emails to arrive. This is more likely to happen around holidays and peak sending times. Also email providers such as Yahoo and Gmail can take up to 24 hours for emails to arrive.
3. This could be a network connection issue. Try clearing out your cookies and cache. Instructions are here. http://eepurl.com/mjFv
4. The email is getting trapped by an over aggressive spam filter. Check your junk or spam folder to see if the activation email landed there. If not, it could be happening at the ISP level. You can try signing up with another email address, if you have one.
5. A corporate firewall is stopping the email from getting through. If you're signing up with a corporate email account, there could be an aggressive anti-spam firewall that's blocking the email. Ask your IT department if emails from @mailchimp.com addresses are triggering any spam filters.
6. Maybe you typed the wrong email address when you signed up? Yep, we've done that, too!
